A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS CONDO...
LOKELANI C-101 Features include all new furniture in Hawaiian motif, kitchen with all new appliances, granite counter tops, and ceiling fan, bathroom with onyx tiled walk in shower with seat, granite counter top and all solid brass fixtures, cable connected flat panel TVs in living room and bedroom, tile floor throughout, all new window coverings, internet connection for computer, floor to ceiling mirrors to bring in ocean views, door from kitchen to bathroom for guests in living room, recessed lighting throughout, New panel doors with brass handles throughout

C-101 is a condo with a private lanai that is just steps to Rainbow Beach. Rainbow Beach is one of the few beaches on Maui where you have a sandy bottom way out into the ocean with coral on each side for snorkeling. Plenty of sand on the beach for sunning and building sand castles. Rainbow Beach is very private because it is not accessible to the public. Swim in the close by pool when it is too dark to swim in the ocean.

C-101 will comfortably sleep four persons with a king size bed in the bedroom and a comfortable pullout sofa in the living room. There is bathroom access without going through the bedroom for guests in the living room. There are cable connected flat screen TVs in the living room and the bedroom and internet hookup for your computer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection microwave above a cooktop and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer/dryer combination. The condo has double sliding glass doors along a full western wall to bring in the ocean views. Hear the surf 24/7.

THE VIEWS: West Maui is one of the few places where you see Molokai and Lanai at close range with a sunset therebetween. Watch for whales in the winter season teaching their babies to jump high to take a look at you. See the schools of jumping porpoise and fish. Enjoy the beautiful lava formed cove next to Rainbow Beach with draping flora which is highlighted at night by tiki torches. Watch the surfers and wind surfers and see canoe races and distant sailboats. Look into the ocean in front of the condo and see turtles and many varieties of fish.

THE EVENINGS: . Cook steaks on one of the many grills and have a dinner on your private lanai or at either of the two picnic tables next to the beach. Hear the surf 24/7. Swim in the pool when it is too dark to swim in the ocean.

Lokelani is set back from picturesque Lower Honoapiilani Road that traverses other great beaches, walking distances to the little Lahuiokalani Kaanapali Congregational Church, great eating places, shopping center, strip malls, Farmer's Market food stands, parks next to beaches, flea markets and other condo complexes. A short trip on upper Honoapiilani Road takes you to Kaanapali where you have luaus, a 3 mile boardwalk along Kaanapali Beach, restaurants right on the beach, museums and a free hula show every night.

  We had two condos next door to each other. They were both clean and well stocked with a starter supply. The view is spectacular! Bree, the property manager, was exceptional. She responds to your calls immediately. The maintenance man, Herb, was great. When we needed help after a power outage, he came over immediately and fixed the issue. The unit needs some repair on the shower doors and closet doors as one side of each won’t move. It would be nice to have a chair in the living room so you have something to sit on other than a hide a bed. That would be at the owners discretion and not the manger.

  We loved this unit. The pictures are exactly as it looks the web. The only down part was the amount of tiny tiny ant like buds ALL over the counters in the kitchen, bathroom, crossing over the fridge and the wall in the bedroom. If they would come and spray more frequently I’m sure that would help the issue. They did put a notice on the door 3 days before our check out date about coming to spray but due the weather it didn’t happen. Understandable. But maybe before people move in make sure those bugs won’t be crawling over dishes and tooth brushes. You would wipe them off with your hand and you’d have a pile on your hand. Outside of that, this unit was beautiful and clean. Washer and Dryer were amazing. The view is amazing! This units does not come with beach toys or chaisr or anything like that so you’ll need to go to boss frogs for that but it wasn’t too expensive to rent. The pool was nice for the kids always clean and quiet. They keep the grounds really clean and tidy. We would definitely come back to stay in this unit.

  We had a fantastic stay at this waterfront condo the location of the unit was absolutely perfect.The private beach is perfect for a day of snorkeling and turtle watching.
  You will need to buy or rent lawn chairs and beach umbrella as this unit does not provide them. Go to Costco to purchase them as its cheaper than renting them.
  Staff are very friendly and helpful any issues are taken care of immediately.
  The unit does need an update it showing its age but that did not affect our stay there.
  Rent a car as its a short drive to many beautiful beaches and shopping.

  The property is slightly dated but is well-kept, comfortable and has all the amenities for a quiet stay in Maui. It is in a small condo complex/mostly rentals that attract couples and families. Even though our unit C101 was right by the pool it went mostly unused by everyone, it seems most renters stayed out the whole day. The waterfront porch/ lanai gave a lot of privacy, it was relaxing watching the sunsets and starry nights. The beach is tiny and rocky, visibility is poor but can make out some wildlife while snorkeling. We named the sea turtle Antonio tortugas. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!

  This was our 2nd visit to the Lokelani. We feel we have found a small piece of heaven there. It's location is so amazing. We would rate it higher than 5 if it were possible. It's a small resort and is never busy. You are steps to the beach or the pool. We especially enjoyed the view from the lanai. It is so spectacular! Blue skies and blue water. It is a short drive to Whaler's Village and Lahaina where there are many restaurants and shops to choose from. Each condo has fully equipped kitchens if one feels like staying in and BBQs are located in different areas of the resort. The area is very quiet with only one minor drawback.. if staying on the first floor , people upstairs can be heard. Management are very helpful and friendly.   The condo was one of the best we've stayed in. Fully stocked kitchen and overall a very nice interior. Only down side were the owners above us. Very rude and very noisy at the wrong time of day. Always at night!

  In the early years we did all the typical tourist activities. But now we like to spend time on the linai, watching the whales and turtles, visiting with neighbor's, and enjoying good food. Some at the condo, but many at the different good restaurants. Lokelani staff are friendly, competent and always helpful.

  We love the Condos.
  The units are located with a beautiful view.
  The units are getting old so I think it is hard to keep them up to date. We had problems with one of the TVs. In a location like that we shouldn't be watching TV.
  We will keep returning as long as there are units available.

  This is our second time to stay at the Lokilani condos. Both times we had a wonderful stay and will be back again soon I hope. Liz in the office is VERY helpful and friendly. Our condo wa just perfect for the two of us and had a beautiful view of the surrounding islands and right on the ocean.

  This was our third time staying at Lokelani. The past two trips have been spent in C-101, which we love. We have already scheduled our trip for 2016 and it will be C-101 again. It is so comfortable. The walk-in shower is a god-send as I am disabled and cannot climb over a tub. We have air conditioning in the bedroom, which makes for a lovely night's sleep. We love Kim, property management, and look forward to seeing her each year. She is most helpful and a great person to just sit and chat with. Billy does a wonderful job maintaining the property and swimming pool. We just couldn't find a better place and have referred friends and family.

  The friends we travel with stayed at this location about 40 years ago. They wanted to return and see what it looks like today. We agreed to find out with them. They were in a different condo than this one.
  
  Overall we were pleased with the condo we rented. We loved seeing the turtles feeding along the rocks. Snorkeling was OK. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off. The air-conditioner in the bedroom cooled the room enough so we could sleep. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lokelani Condo. The view from the condo was breathtaking! We were able to see the Humpback Whales and the turtles. Beachfront only steps away, could not have been better! Very relaxing stay. Shopping and restaurants all within close proximity. Will look forward to a return visit.

  We've stayed at the Lokelani several times over the years. All one-bedroom units are on the ground level with a lanai and lawn. There's a sandy beach with opportunities for snorkling and paddle boarding. Whale and turtle watching were a delight.
  The unit is well laid out and nice size for two people. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the amount of closet space is amazing. Even though the unit was redecorated in 2008, the furnishings, especially the sofa, already are showing wear.
  
  The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Booking was a breeze and communication was excellent. We've recommended the Lokelani to others and they too enjoyed their stay. Quick and easy access to Lahaina and many golf courses. This is an excellent alternative to staying in a pricey resort.

  We've stayed here every year for 13 years. To see whales breaching and turtles resting on the beach almost every day, a magnificent view, and sit on the linai just 30 feet from the water, is perfection. It's what we go to Maui for. The staff are friendly and most helpful with whatever you need.

  I stayed at the Lokelani over 20 years ago and loved it. In October of 2014 my friend and I booked a week here to celebrate our birthdays together, and I'm so glad we did! It has been kept up extremely well over the years.
  
  I love that it is a "low-rise" right on the water, less people to share your space. I felt an intimacy with the ocean that one cannot get from staying in a huge high-rise hotel. I love that I could hear the waves from my bed! The views are amazing, no better place to chill and watch the sunset.
  
  We had a wonderful week and I would love to come back and visit yearly.
