Lokelani C106 offers the sound of the waves is very soothing and this location is ideal. The water is right outside your double lanai doors. The nearly private beach is just steps away for snorkeling and swimming with the turtles and fish. Everything you need is within walking distance so you could go days without getting in your car. . This unit has a great, quiet location, being the north end unit, closest to the beach access. It’s also the only one bedroom with an extra side window to expand your view. You can sit on your lanai and not see anyone or any buildings — just the ocean and the beautiful views, including the sun setting directly in front —– right between the islands of Molokai and Lanai.

WHERE ARE WE....
We are located between the beautiful Ka’anapali resorts and Kapalua. Walk down to the farmer’s market — a very short walk — and get the best papayas, pineapples and mangoes, along with a lot of other things (don’t miss the guacamole!). Add another 100 yards for fresh fish tacos, 50 more feet to fresh fish to throw on the grill (which is conveniently close to the condo!)
We are close to shopping, award-winning golf courses, and restaurants, only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka’anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries.

A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  We've stayed at Lokelani C106 many times for two week visits. It's a cozy little spot with everything you need, including surf sounds 24/7 and stairs to the beach right in front across the lawn, a bright living space, two TVs, A/C in the bedroom, and a full kitchen to cook up every meal. You get no foot traffic because that end of the property has no through-walkway. It's all so peaceful.

A few things that weren't so great: You can hear stumps from anyone walking in the apartment upstairs.. I guess you get used to it.   I've just returned from one of perhaps 10 stays at Lokelani. I've had the same experience at the condos every trip, starting 28 years ago.
  
  Downstairs units are one bedroom, fully supplied. Upstairs units are two floor and two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Every unit includes a full kitchen with all utensils, cooking gear, serving plates, glasses, and bowls.
  
  My unit this trip was for 17 nights. As usual, the unit was perfectly clean. No bugs of any sort, either. Ventilation is wonderful. My unit was one with bedroom A/C, something very necessary now and then in the summer. Check for units that have A/C if you stay during a hot spell.
  
  The fully equipped kitchen has everything for cooking and serving. Also in the unit is a small washer and dryer combo.
  
  The units are all quiet and peaceful, unless your current upstairs neighbors are of the occasional elephant family.
  
  Reserve far, far in advance of your trip.
  
  Lokelani's management is extremely helpful and efficient, by the way. Nice people looking out for you. Go there!

  C106 is perfectly comfortable and fully functional, with A/C as an extra to choose if needed.
  
  The furniture is set up for lounging with space for several folks plus more chairs as needed. There are TVs in the main room and in the bedroom. This unit feels like home, not a rental room.
  
  It's quiet condo too, with no street traffic noise, but with sometimes a bump or thump from upstairs, but that's it.
  
  I think the owners might consider getting bigger TV screens - not huge, expensive ones, just bigger ones for the old eyes who love your condo.
  
  I love having a carpet instead of tile.
  
  A cook will love the kitchen and its full supply of cooking tools and utensils, a nice knife set and little items like salt and pepper and bottled spices are there as left-behinds for you to use as you need.
  
  All Lokelani condos are just as fully supplied and comfortable. We've stayed there probably 15 times in 27 years, plus maybe 15 stays at other places on Maui and other islands.
  
  We figure we can stop trying to find something better or better located.

Our unit was not as nicely appointed as some of the larger units, but otherwise met our needs and felt very private. The immediate access to the clean beach and daily sea turtle viewing was an unexpected bonus. The grounds were maintained daily and the option of sea or pool swimming was nice.

  This is our 4th trip to Lokelani and to C106. We have recommended this complex to 4 other couples that have come there. The only thing we have ever had an issue with (this year) are the grills on the west end both ocean and pool side. They really need attention! Great stay and would do it again.   This was our first trip to Maui in the summer and we stayed in C106 for 4 mights. The condo was unbearably HOT, staying 90+ degrees during the day and 80+ at night. There is no "AC" in this unit as advertised but rather a small swamp cooler in the bedroom that only slightly cools the bedroom to around 80 degrees (they charge an extra $15/night for this!) There is one fan to circulate the hot air. After a couple days everyone was irritable and it certainly was not conducive to a good time. Had we known this we definitely would not have stayed here!
  
  The condo is outdated and sparsely equipped (compared to other rentals we've stayed in) but clean and the property well maintained. The bed is ultra firm but tolerable, the sofa sleeper has the old fashioned paper thin mattress and you feel every spring ugh! They really should invest in a higher end sofa. The ocean is steps from the lanai but if you're looking for a good swimming beach, you'll want to go to Napili or Ka'anapali as the sea is a bit rough and the bottom VERY rocky. We had numerous cuts on our legs after one swim.
  
  The office staff is very helpful and professional and reservations were a breeze. Basic items (dish/laundry detergent, paper towels, etc) were well stocked and additional was available from the office if needed. However, we found the other tenants to be some of the least friendly we encountered on the entire island (perhaps just our bad luck). The gardeners will wake you up before 8am - so don't plan to sleep in. And beware if walking outside at night, my sister was stung by something (possibly a centipede) which was very painful!
  
  I give this condo two and a half stars. In cooler months if you're on a tight budget and don't mind giving up some of the usual conveniences this place would suite your needs, otherwise stay elsewhere.

    Thanks for taking the time to review Lokelani C106. We do apologize that your vacation was less than expected. Hawaii has been experiencing the hottest summer in recent history, and we have all felt the effects. The storms passing to the north have made it muggy and have made the waters rougher than usual also. We do advertise our AC as in the bedroom only. As most individually owned condos do not offer AC, we are very happy to be able to offer this to our guests. The AC units are not intended to cool the whole condo, and will not cool the whole condo. They are more than adequate to cool the bedroom with the doors closed though. Again we apologize and hope you will give Lokelani another chance in the future. Hopefully we won't have another summer like this for a long time!

  We LOVE Lokelani! We have been coming to Maui for 23 years. This is our 2nd visit to Lokelani. We came back because the location is superb. The units are well cleaned, basic supplies are provided and can be replenished as needed. It's quiet with a beautiful calm private beach which is frequented by turtles that regularly feed on the rock wall in front of the Condos. It's walking distance to a coffee shop, health food store, farmers market and Snorkel Bob's. I almost hate to give this review as I think of Lokelani as one of Maui's best kept secrets.

  We love staying at Lokelani Condos. It is a very quiet complex as it set back from the road plus it has very few children. We love the closeness to the ocean, 20 feet to paradise. Unit C106 was very nice and clean. It was well stocked with spices, oil, sugar and a plastic wrap. The kitchen had everything we needed.
  We will definitely be back.

  This was our third time staying at Lokelani Condos. We love the location - only a few steps away from the ocean. This condo was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for the 2 weeks we stayed there. We definitely will return to Lokelani! We took in the Elvis show and Ulalena Show. We enjoyed both of them and would recommend seeing them. We also went on a day trip to the island of Molekai. The ferry trip wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (not too rough), and the tour guide we had was very knowledgeable about the island!
