WHERE ARE WE....
We are located between the beautiful Ka’anapali resorts and Kapalua. We are close to shopping, award-winning golf courses, and restaurants, only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka’anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries. Everything you need is within walking distance so you could go days without getting in your car.

A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  We have stayed at Lokelani a number of times. The location is both beautiful and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed watching whales from the balcony. Bree and Herb are always available and helpful if guests need anything. There was no BBQ spatula in our condo. I notified Herb, and he supplied one in a few hours. Great stay as always.

  Beautiful view with such easy access to beach. Calm waves while we were there and loved seeing the turtles every day. We enjoyed drinking coffee and having meals on the lania. Could use some updating but over all a great experience. We did have the fire alarm wake us up in the middle of the night. They did come and replace it the next day. Would be nice if they provided a couple of beach chairs and some more beach towels. But you can't beat the view and proximity to the beach.

  We happen to arrive when it was a very good time to watch the whales go by. Lot's of activity going on all day. We sipped cocktails and enjoyed the epic view. The condo was just wonderful. We used the BBQ outside on the patio. We took a dip in the pool. When we walked onto the beach, we saw two large sea turtles sunning on the sand, and we learned they sun at this spot regularly. The condo is close enough for a short drive to places to eat.

  We loved the location of the condo there was a few things cosmetic with the condo that could use some attention. Towel rack fell off the wall the screen doors to the patios did not open or close easy ( one was off track) screens need replace ( ware and tear) the coating on the cabinets was loose/ slipping.. the pool, beach, the people all amazing. We had a lot of turtles show up on the beach almost everyday there was at least 1. Over all we loved our stay and would 100% come back.

Overall, a great stay.

  Just calling it "an excellent view" does not do this property justice. The view from both the living room and the master bedroom or ocean front, unobstructed, seawall, beach, ocean, Lanai and Molekai. We had a sea turtle visit us nearly every day and the crashing waves meant we did not need a white noise machine to sleep each night. Although the property is a bit dated, it is clean and well maintained. We didn't find the pool useful, would have been nice to have a hot tub. The property does have several outdoor grills which we made use of and the management company was very responsive to some minor maintenance items we noticed.

  This is a wonderful location. Could not be a more perfect setting/location. Literally walk a few feet to the beach. Several guests were snorkeling along the beach. The beach is not long and wide, it is small. At the time of our visit, the waves were coming in against the rock wall which makes the beach smaller. There is a staircase down to the water, where you can reach the sand. The turtles visited the beach a few times, which is a unique experience. There is a swimming pool which was cleaned each morning. The ground level 1 bedroom units have grass as they walk out of their lanais. There are communal lounge chairs on the grass for sunbathing or relaxing. Management was great with communication from reservation to check out. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. A coffee shop is within walking distance (Bad *** Coffee). Farmers Market is next door to the coffee shop. It is primarily a health food grocery store, but you can purchase some staples for your visit. Two other good places within walking distance are Fish Market Maui & Honokowai Okazuya. Take out only and you must wear a mask. Fish Market has fresh fish to BBQ at your condo, as well as cooked selections. They do have tables outside, but not many. These two restaurants are a couple of doors from each other. The grounds of Lokelani are impeccably kept. C203 does need maintenance and upgrades, however. But overall, it had everything we needed. Two lanais (upstairs & downstairs) made it easy to watch the sunset, have morning coffee, or just watch the ocean waves. There is a nice, small park along the beach, across from Bad *** Coffee (with restrooms). There are tables, or you can take a chair to sit in the sand. Old Lahaina Luau was wonderful. It's about a 10 minute drive to get there from Lokelani, depending on traffic. The Maui Princess dinner/dance cruise was fun also. Highly recommend Lokelani Condos!!

  I stayed in C203 with my Mom, sister, and 2 nieces. We were all so very happy with our stay at Lokelani. The breathtaking views, the access to the ocean and a pool, the ease of parking, and the quiet environment was all exactly what we needed. We did unfortunately need to contact to the rental management 2 times during our stay. They were so quick to respond and help. The upstairs toilet handle broke and was repaired within the hour. The only issue, if you call it that, were there were not enough mugs for the 5 of us. We made do and shared. We cooked a lot and my Mom was missing a spatula. It was so nice to have a purified water container, that was constantly used. I am not sure if there was AC in that unit, but that would have been nice. C-203 is absolutely beautiful and was very comfortable for the 5 of us. We would like to return! ~Nicole

  This condo is right in the middle of Kaanapali action. Close to Lahaina downtown and great beaches and snorkeling. You walk out of the condo and around the corner and you are on the beach. Beautiful view from the balcony.

  It was even better than in the photos! Rainbows every day, gorgeous sunsets, sea turtles visiting in the water and on the beach. The kitchen was so perfectly functional, and having two showers, and in-unit laundry was so helpful. Definitely staying here again next time. The lack of AC wasn’t a problem for us in March. It actually got so cool in the evenings we had to close the doors. We had two adults and four kids, and had just enough space.

  We had a great 10 days at Lokelani Condos. The location was perfect. Condo could use a little updating, furnishings are a bit dated, but besides that its great. If you want AC make sure to ask, not all condos come with AC. The view from the master bedroom is breath taking. We sat for sunsets all most every day.
  A little tip for snorkeling, go to Honolua Bay! Not worth the money to go Molokini, barely any fish and the cost is high. At Honolua Bay we saw many types of fishes, sea turtle, and its just a 15 minute drive from the condo.

  The view from our condos two levels was beyond amazing. We spent all of our home time on the lanais. The sound of the waves was the only sound we heard and it was awesome. We rented snorkels and masks and were thrilled with the corral, fish and turtles that live just Lokelani’s neighbouring beach.
  We went out long enough to shop, experience a few other sights but were very happy to just stay “home”.
  The condo could certainly use some TLC as it is the perfect location and is part of a very good condominium complex but needs a little attention to make it a first choice.
  Lokelani feels like home and it’s manager etc. are friendly and accomodating. We have stayed within the complex four times and enjoyed every stay. We recommend it all the time. We have already booked Lokelani for May!

  The views were spectacular and being close to the beach was really nice. Unfortunately, the unit doesn't have AC and one of the living room fans wasn't working. Luckily we found a plug in fan in a closet that really helped. I really appreciated the cleaning fee refund to make things right. I would definitely stay at Lokelani again, although perhaps in a more modern unit with AC. It was an amazing vacation and I will certainly recommend Lokelani again for its beautiful views, friendly staff, great location, good value, and beach with turtles.

From the moment you walk through the front doors and see the view of the Ocean, Palm Trees and Molokai, you know its going to be a special stay!! The unit and its location was wonderful. Close to the Farmers Market and other amenities, yet away from the Hustle and Bustle of the Resort like places. The on-site Manager and Handyman were phenomenal! They answered all our questions, were extremely friendly and acted very quickly when we had any issues!! I don't think we would have had the same experience in Maui if we wouldn't have stayed at Lokelani. We will certainly stay here again........hopefully in the near future.

  The vacation rental was great. Liz helped us with a problem and it was solved. She is an effective and cordial representative and tended to all of our questions and requests. Our unit was not air conditioned but evening wine on the lanai was very comfortable and we were entertained by several green sea turtles who came up on the beach in front of our unit.Not as many whales as last time but we did see several from our lanai. We miss the sound of the surf and the cool night breeze that made sleep heavenly. If you want a touch of oceanfront paradise this vacation rental fits very well.

  The condo was great for our 6 night stay. Wonderful location right on the water with a nice little beach only steps away. We saw sea turtles frequently on the beach or in the water. The condo was comfortable and roomy enough for five of us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The on,y issue we had early on was an initial problem with a bad phone number to the rental office that was provided on the website we booked through. It took some effort to figure out the correct contact information, but then everything went smoothly after that with great support from office staff.

  As always, a lovely visit. One suggestion: we would like to see a no smoking ban anywhere near the condos. Allowing smoking on lanais just doesn't work if it drives other renters off their lanais and inside with the door closed.

  Everything was absolutely wonderful. The condo was well furnished, with everything we could ask for, or need. Kim took care of everything we needed (evenincluding replacement TP and laundry detergent). It really was a home away from home, except with a much better location ...did I mention the location, beachfront, with a perfect little beach to swim at in the afternoon; Honu (Green Sea Turtles) swimming by, one very large one even coming up for an overnight rest one day. A very enjoyable experience, I would stay there again. We were 5 adults,a child, and an infant, and we had lots of room.

  We had an incredibly relaxing vacation in Lokelani. There was a lot to do in Maui, but everytime we got back to Lokelani, we would just sit and enjoy the incredible view from our balcony, listen to the sounds of the waves, and watch the turtles.

  The staff at Lokelani are great to work with and accommodate special requests when at all possible. I love the small complex and that we had an assigned parking space every day so we did not have to search for a spot every time we left. BBQ grills are located in several areas of the property and we liked having those available. The unti we stayed in was fine. The kitchen was nice and updated although other areas need the same, mainly the bathrooms. Bathrooms are small but not much can be helped there as that is the design but they do need some updating. The beds were comfortable but some cooler sheets and mattress pad might be helpful. There are ceiling fans but floor models are needed for this unit for extra circulation and comfort. I think if you work out doors every day then you would not mind it but if your office and home is air conditioned - you are most likely going to want it there. We felt it hard to sleep all night due to the heat (and my husband works outside in the humidity every day). At the very least, a/c is needed in the upstairs area. The wind is there but it does not blow into the unit like I imagined. We would like to be comfortable at all times and not waiting for the "cool" time of the day. Most condos we have stayed at before had more items for use as well. Beach items, snorkeling items, beach toys etc as well as cooking items in the kitchen such as condiments, sugar, coffee etc. This unit had few items in those areas as compared to my previous experiences. That would be a huge savings in your grocery bill. Overall it is a nice place to stay, I would just be more particular in the unit and what each has to offer as far as amenities. Overall you come to Maui to enjoy the outdoors and that is the focus and from the Lokelani, it is a great home base during your stay. I would stay there again perhaps in a different unit. The view is wonderful and you can't beat that. It is a nice quiet complex and easy access to the beach next door.
